Young Shin Lim brings a unique international and interdisciplinary perspective to her legal practice. Ms. Lim served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Daniel Yablonsky, J.S.C. (Ret.), in the Family Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Passaic Vicinage. During her clerkship, she conducted legal research, drafted judicial opinions and orders, and gained valuable insight into judicial decision-making and litigation practice. Before pursuing a career in law, she built a foundation in international affairs and economic development, earning a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and a Master’s degree in Middle Eastern Studies. Her graduate research examined the role of education in nation-building and economic development, reflecting her longstanding interest in public policy, governance, and international cooperation.

Prior to law school, Ms. Lim worked in the International Business Department of Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), where she collaborated with government agencies, international organizations, and private-sector partners to support urban development and housing initiatives in developing countries. In that role, she helped foster cooperative relationships between the Korean government, Korean companies, and foreign governments to advance international development projects.

While attending law school, Ms. Lim was a member of the Syracuse Journal of International Law and Commerce, where she further developed her legal research and writing skills while exploring issues at the intersection of international law and global commerce.

Before joining The Busch Law Group, Ms. Lim practiced immigration law and civil litigation at a boutique New Jersey law firm, where she represented clients in a variety of legal matters involving motion practice, legal research, discovery, and client advocacy. Her diverse professional background allows her to approach legal issues with a thoughtful, strategic, and practical perspective.
