Karen Wachs serves as Of Counsel, focusing her practice on school board contract and construction matters, OPRA litigation, and commercial real estate transactions. She provides comprehensive counsel to public entities, helping clients navigate complex regulatory requirements and protect their interests in high-stakes disputes.

Karen brings a sharp analytical approach shaped by her legal training at The George Washington University Law School and her extensive experience across education, transactional, construction, and real estate sectors. She represents clients in a wide range of contract, procurement, construction and records-access issues, as well as commercial property acquisitions, leasing, and transactional negotiation.

Karen is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York. She is deeply engaged in the legal community, serving as Co-Director of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Solo and Small Firm Section and Co-Chair of Women Owned Law’s Virtual Programming Committee. She is also an active member of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association.
